57 edition of the Venice Biennale: Cesare Catania guest of Lorenzo Quinn
The Italian artist Cesare Catania was a guest at the gala evening of Lorenzo Quinn, an Italian-American sculptor who presented his pharaonic sculpture called “L’Appoggio” at the 57th edition of the Venice Biennale. The work, made of composite materials on a steel frame, represents two white hands coming out of the water and ideally supporting the sixteenth-century building of the Ca ‘Sagredo hotel on the grand canal.
“A work exceptional ”Catania commented referring to Lorenzo’s sculpture. “Finally something that amazes”.
In addition to the aforementioned artists, there were also various authorities, gallery owners and guests from all over the world.
