Monaco 2017: "Art for All"

Although only a few pages long, the “Art for Everyone” catalogue, which accompanies the Cesare Catania Exhibition in Monte Carlo in 2017, is of fundamental importance. It was on that occasion that for the first time the artist expressed his idea of democratic art, an idea that a few years later would give life to his Embrace Project . An idea that makes him conceive of art not only as the end of his work but as a means to spread a message of positivity.

During the Monte Carlo event the artist presented a world premiere of his first work of art specifically created for people affected by Dalton syndrome. He dedicated careful research to studying color palettes in the context of color blindness, in order to offer a unique visual experience to those people. The protagonist work of art of this study is the suggestive sculpture entitled “The Mouth of Etna” (E Version). This work represents an extraordinary and focused interpretation, allowing viewers to admire and better understand the visual nuances experienced by color blind people. This sculpture embodies Cesare Catania’s passion for artistic research and his dedication to reaching a wide and diverse audience.

Catalog of Main ArtWorks (2018 edition)

In 2018 the artist decided to publish his first catalogue, a photographic and descriptive collection of the works created up to then. More than 20 thousand copies are printed and distributed in 3 different editions created between 2018 and 2020. Works of art and poetry by an artist always looking for new techniques and new inspirations to express his feelings.

The Embrace: When Art Envelops Words (year 2023)

Catalog created on the occasion of the Piacenza Exhibition entitled “The Embrace: when art envelops Words”. An important exhibition in Piacenza, intended as the first institutional exhibition organized after the nomination by the Italian artist as the only ambassador in the world for the year 2023 of the National Hugging Day, the international day of Hugging. The catalog traces both the history of Cesare Catania’s Abbracci collection and the inspirations behind all the works on display.
